What’s all this about?
Sticky eBooks is all about helping you get your ideas in front of a bigger audience. It’s about taking your idea and polishing, shaping and strengthening your idea to make it stickier, stronger and help it go farther, faster. Finding a message that moves people and engages them. It’s about being remarkable and memorable in a quickly shifting digital universe.
About me, professionally
I love big, powerful ideas and I’ve mastered the art and science to helping them spread, building a tribe and selling idea-driven products.
I have a multi-faceted background — from education in art and design to freelancing as a journalist and publishing in the New York Times.
My interest and expertise in writing and communication has culminated in helping ideapreneurs take advantage of the publishing revolution and grow their thought leadership online.
Over the past two years, I’ve been privileged to work with some exceptional clients. In 2010, I launched my eBook, the Sticky eBook Formula, two 45-Day eBook Bootcamps as well as a product called Engaging eCourses. I’ve guest-posted for ProBlogger and ClickBank and was interviewed by TheStreet.com on this emerging field of publishing. This year I collaborated with Pamela Wilson of BigBrandSystem.com on eBook Evolution, a one-stop eBook creation and launch kit for online entrepreneurs.
I’m currently shifting my focus from the medium of eBooks to the message itself. Whether it’s a blog, an eBook or a poem, the core concept must be sound and interesting to get people on board. The shortest way to the message at the heart of your business is to start talking about it. If you’re curious about my services, please check them out here.
About me, personally
I live in Beacon, about an hours’ drive north of New York City in the beautiful Hudson Valley. I live with my amazing and kind boyfriend, Paul O’Hanlon, who is a talented photographer. Paul’s son, my 11 year-old stepson Drew, lives with us some of the time. When we got together, Paul had one cat and I had two, so you can imagine the fur-ball situation at our house.
When I’m not helping entrepreneurs sharpen, package and market their message, I write a dining column for a Hudson Valley newspaper. If you live in the Orange, Ulster or Sullivan counties of New York I’m always looking for suggestions of where to eat next.
